Paper Bark Press publishes the best of Australian poetry in beautifully designed and carefully crafted books.
Paper Bark Press was established in 1986 by poet Robert Adamson and photographer Juno Gemes. They believed that high quality production and design were essential to the publication of fine poetry, and quickly established a reputation as Australia’s premier poetry publisher.
Paper Bark Press also co-produced titles with Angus & Robertson between 1990-1992. Between 1998-2002 PBP was in partnership with Gordon and Breach International, a partnership which enabled PBP to distribute its titles internationally, particularly in the UK and USA.
