John Kinsella

John Kinsella was born in Perth, Western Australia, in 1963. He has published eighteen collections of poetry, most recently Visitants (Bloodaxe Books, UK, 1999) and Wheatlands, with Dorothy Hewett (Fremantle Arts Centre Press, Australia, 2000). He is the founding editor of Salt, co-editor of Stand UK and international editor of The Kenyon Review (USA).

Kinsella has recently been appointed Adjunct Professor of Literature at Edith Cowan University, and will be the Richard L Thomas Professor of Creative Writing at Kenyon College (USA) in 2001.

Kinsella lives and works in Cambridge, England, where he is a Fellow of Churchill College.
